Best Picture Ever

Seriously, this pic is amazing. It's on my wallpaper right now....*drool* To get the full effect, click on it. Go ahead. You know you want to.

Rainy Saturday

It's been a hard week, but it went by fast!
It's rainy outside and about 55 degrees. In my opinon, it's the perfect weather for a lazy saturday(though i'd love it if it was dry, so I could go outside and take pictures). I actually did get to take some pictures, though. My mom got a bouquet of flowers for her birthday yesterday, so I took some pics of those. I had to take like, 50 pics to get the focus to look right since the lighting was bad. I've become a photography monster. I've literally been loading up at least 5o pics a day.

I thougth since Shela posted pics of her purse, I'd post some pics of the one I'm carrying right now. I got it for my birthday last year and I love it! So very me! It's got a little racoon, panda bear, brown bear, and a seal and they're sitting in a little boat that says "Love Boat". It's so freakin' adorable.

My birthday's on tuesday!! I can't wait! I'm getting my first Tae Yang(the boy doll). I'll post pics once i get him!

I'm still reading The Host and Pride & Prejudice. I know, it's taking me forever. I havent' had much time lately. And The Host is huge and heavy, so I leave it at home most of the time. I've been reading Pride more because it's on my ipod.
So yeah, that's the update, sorry if I bored you.

P.S. It's not just Pullip pictures, there are a lot of different pics up there.

Chris Brown and Rihanna Still a Couple-thoughts?

Ok, I just heard that Chris and Rihanna are back together, and personally, I saw it coming and i'm happy about it. They had too much chemistry to not be a couple.
I think they're good together. Yes, I know Chris hurt her pretty bad, but he just has some anger issues(and now he's taking anger management classes). I know anger gets the better of me sometimes. It's human nature.
Anyway, what do you guys think about their reunion?

Colds, the Princess Diaries 2, Pride & Prejudice, Piper, and Common Sense

Hello, everyone!
Unfortunately, I have a cold. It was pretty much unavoidable(almost everyone I know has been getting sick in the past 2 weeks!) Not a bad cold, but enough to keep me home and on the couch watching T.V.
Speaking of which, I watched The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement for the hundredth time(and I still love it!) I've always loved the Princess Diaries(and Anne Hathaway!) The books are great, the movies are amazing, but they're so incredibly different. I recommend reading the books AND watching the movies. In the 2nd(and last) movie, Mia is to become the queen of Genovia, but she must get married beforehand. Chris Pine also stars in it. He's pretty yummy, especially in a suit, riding a horse, or sleeping under a tree. Basically every little thing he does is magic, every thing he does just turns me on, even though my life before was tragic, now I know my love for him goes on...
I've become recently more obsessed with romance. I just started reading Pride and Prejudice. I'm only on the 3rd chapter, but I like it so far. It's one of those classics that I'm still able to understand(c'mon, I've already got mild dyslexia, do those ancient authors have to mix up the words for me in the first place?) I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm planning to after I finish reading the book. Kiera Knightley's in it, so that's an automatic plus-she's one of my favorite actresses, her weird mouth movement and all.
I just got a new Pullip a couple days ago! She's superrrr cute! I named her Piper. She's the one in the picture at the top. And yes, I know I'm a complete dork(but i don't understand how people live any other way!)
So yesterday, Nikki and I got bored at lunch(Sarah was sick and didn't show up) and Nikki was wearing her Dangerous Boots. These things are super tall and make the already-clumsy Nikki similar to a hurricane(I mean, the desturction and turmoil, not the wind and rain) Nikki, though I love her to death, is not the smartest apple on the tree when it comes to common sense. And she knows it. So I decided to give her a little crash course in common sense. We came up with TONS of rules and I thougth I'd post some of the funny ones.

Alanna's Guide to Common Sense:
1. If someone asks you to hide a shovel in your basement, you should probably say no(unless it's your best friend-Nikki and I decided that we'd help each other hide the bodies if either of us killed someone-then she told me to please not kill anyone-yes, it was a very strange conversation)
2. Don't drive on the right side of the road in England. It won't turn out well.
3. If you see a gun lying on the ground, don't pick it up. Your DNA will rub off on it and you'll be accused of a terrible crime.
4. If someone offers you crack, just say no.(we concluded that even if they don't mean the drug, still say no. I can't think of any 'crack' that's good for you...)
5. Don't lean back in a chair if you are naturally clumsy. Nikki can explain the results if anyone can't imagine them.
6. If someone shocks themselves, don't touch them. You will also get shocked and there will be two people lying on the ground. Who wants to clean that up?
7. If there's a banana peel on the ground, walk around it(yes, someone actually put a banana peel on the ground yesterday and was frustrated that everyone was walking around it)

I'll post more once I remember the rest. There were like, 50 of them(we were really bored).

That's all for now! Hope you all have a great week! It's suprisingly going by pretty fast...

Short Stories, Valentine's Day, and Friends

It's been quite a long time since I've made a decent, long post. Sorry 'bout that. I've been too occupied with the butt loads of work my new teachers are giving me.

Not much is happening right now, as always. I'm going get my haircut in about half an hour and then I'm planning on dying it tonight. Not sure what color yet...I'm thinking red-ish, but I might change my mind completely when I get to Target.

I have to write a short story for English, which really sucks because I can't write a short story. I always have too many ideas in my mind and it goes on forever! Anyways, I've got an idea, I wrote out most of it, I'm just trying to figure out a good place to end it. I like the idea, so I might make it into a full-fledged story. I'll give you more details once I get it figured out in my crazy mind.

I'm still working on The Host. I haven't read much lately because I've been lazy, but I read a bit last night and the night before. I'm still not even half-way finished with it yet-I hate long books.

We're busy reading Anthem by Ayn Rand in English. It's a pretty cool book so far. It's really short, only about 100 pages. It's about a world where everyone is equal. The main character falls in love with a girl, which is absolutely not allowed. I like it so far.

I hate Valentine's Day-aka Single's Awareness Day. I spend the whole year working up self-esteem and Feb. 14 always destroys it completely. My school sold roses and daisies and gave them out to people who got them on Friday. It was very depressing. I should've got some for my friends, but the thought didn't occur to me until you couldn't buy them anymore.

Being apart from old friends really sucks. It's sad when you don't get to see them or even talk to them that much anymore. Luckily, I've made new friends that I'm super-close with so it's not quite so sad anymore. I feel bad for SunnyD cuz she's all alone over yonder(or at least, she claims she's alone-*whisper*she really isn't)
I guess you just have to move on if things aren't working out. :(

On a happier note, it's almost time for me to get my hair cut. I'm hoping it'll look somewhat like the pic at the top of this post.
Haircuts make me nervous.

Greatest Picture of Joe Jonas Ever

Really, this guy claims to be straight. Haha. Joe, hon, you're not fooling anyone.

P.S. Please don't be too harsh in the comments. The Jonas Brothers seem like nice guys, I was just pointing out the obvious.

Can This Be True?

Seriously, if this is true, it's crazy.
Comments?
http://justjared.buzznet.com/2009/02/08/chris-brown-assault-charges/

UPDATE:
Apparently, if you didn't find out already, this is true. Chris turned himself in and his bail is $50K. Fun stuff. But get this-according to a source who hasn't been wrong yet, the woman who reported him is....*drumroll* RIHANNA! His girlfriend! Wow, things are getting juicy now...
Guess that relationship is O-V-E-R.
Hmm....wondering exactly what happened. I'll keep on checking TMZ(my guilty pleasure) and posting updates for those of you, like me, that care for some reason.

I'm Sad

One of my very favorite websites, Robertpattinson.org, has been filed as dangerous for my computer. Apparently it can download viruses or something to that affect.
Hopefully something will change so I can use it again :(
I miss my daily dose of Spunk Ransom...:(

Funniest Thing I've Heard I a LONG Time

Ok, I'm sure we've all heard or heard about Christian Bale's explosion when the lights guy walked on set when he was filming a scene.
He said f**k 36 times. Nice, huh?
Anyway, I found this remix of his rant and it's SO HILARIOUS! I was seriously laughing so hard I was literally crying.
Warning: it is uncensored, so only watch it if you're ok with that.

Domino Magazine's Closing!!!

Damn it, must everything good go?
I just freaking ordered my subscription for Domino Magazine like a week ago and I just found out the magazine is being stopped. Crap. It's like, awesome! Anyone else sharing in the sadness or mourning the loss of a another magazine?

The Fray

I just bought the new Fray CD this morning and it is AWESOME! Just as good as the last one. I knew it would be(I mean, c'mon, they're The Fray!), especially after "You Found Me" came out. Great song.
Anyway, it's been a good day. Got my report card. I got 3 B's and and A.

So, go out and buy the new Fray CD! DO IT! NOW!

Go Hilary!

Ok, I'm not a fan of Hilary Duff anymore(yes, I used to be), but this was pretty awesome.

She's supposed to be cast as Bonnie in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, a role formerly played by Faye Dunaway.
Last week Faye dissed Hilary, saying,"Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?"

Hilary retaliated with this:
"I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…. I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too."

Nice one, Hilary, nice one.

Faye, would you like some ice for that burn?

Rachelle Lefevre

While reading Twilight, I'd always had an extreme hate for Victoria. I was never capable of seeing her side of the story. The movie changed that.

Rachelle Lefevre did an amazing job of portraying Victoria. She was exactly how I'd pictured her and better. She was beautiful, but evil. I think she deserves more attention than she gets. The rest of the cast is always in the spotlight, so I thought I'd make a post about how cool Rachelle is.

While Twilight-the movie-wasn't perfect, I did love some aspects more than I did in the book, like Victoria, for example.
SPOILER ALERT!!! Do not read if you haven't read Twilight!

The ending was beautiful, where Edward and Bella were dancing and then the camera zoomed out to where Victoria was standing at the window, watching them in angry tears because she misses James. That was the first time I ever sympathized with her and saw her as anything but evil.

Anyone else share similar thoughts?

Haven't Posted In A While...

Sorry I haven't been posting lately-we started all new classes on Wednesday and my teachers are fans of work :P I've also been kinda lazy...
Anyway, so my classes this semester are beyond boring, but I've met some new people that I like, so it's all cool.
I definitely ate way too much yesterday. We went to Cracker Barrel for brunch-great food, but if you've ever been there, you know they give you way too much food. And it's irresistible. Then I went to a Super Bowl party and ate even more. Ugh. My stomach problems haven't gone away and it's been about a month and a half now. I'm just hoping it will go away sometime in the next few months.
I watched a decent bit of the Bowl, but, like a classic consumer, I only watch it for the commercials. I'm not a football person(unless the Patriots are playing, just cuz Tom Brady's kinda yummy...) This was my favorite of all the commercials I saw. You have to watch it-it's so freaking hilarious!

This is mostly for James, because he's expressed his new found love for New Wave. But for everyone else, this song is great, kinda hard not to dance to. Everyone's probably heard it already, but it's still awesome. Gay video though, so you dont' have to watch it.
"Tainted Love" by Soft Cell.

I think that's about it. It seems like there was more to say...but I guess not. Oh well, I'll think of everything later.
