Ok, I'll probably be eaten alive for this, but I'm just giving my honest opinion. Turn around now if you are a Dark Knight fan.
My dad's and basically everyone else I know has been begging me to watch the movie forever. So I finally watched it with my parents last night. I will say one thing-the acting was incredible. I can see how Heath Ledger was tortured by playing the Joker-I would be.
I really hated the movie, though. I like movies that give you hope, but this was just all people pulling guns on each other and turning from bad to good guys. I actually got bored, so I left during the second half of the movie. My parents continued watching it. It was my mom's first time seeing it too and she said I was smart to have left. We both like happy endings, or at least some nice resolution. But there was none.
I'll also say that Christian Bale was extremely hot. I didn't used to think he was hot, but when he's moving, he's incredibly sexy. He's not too great in pictures, though. Good thing Synfan and I aren't friends anymore, she'd ridicule me to no end for changing my mind.
He looked AMAZING in the boat scene, where he went from partially-shirtless in a white button-down(he looked great in white) to totally shirtless and diving(nice muscles). I hated his voice when he was Batman, though.
Anyway, I really hated the movie, but that was just me. I can't understand why it's so popular, but I guess it's just the incredible acting.
Please don't be too harsh in the comments, we're all entitled to our own opinions.

Ok, so since I got my dolls and especially since I started my Flickr account, I've become one of the biggest photog geeks you will ever meet. Seriously, I'm an addict, and I'm here to confess.
You know you're a super-geeky photographer when.....
1. Most of your outdoors life is spent looking through the digital screen on your camera.
2. You get excited because you were asked to join a group on Flickr(if you have an account, you know what I mean)
3. "Reading the newspaper" means mostly looking through Best Buy ads looking for cheap prices on cameras(even though I don't really want/need a new camera, I love mine, and I don't have enough money for one anyway)
4. You load up at least 30 pictures(most of the time, it's between 70-100, though) to your computer every other day.
5. When you're constantly looking at other pictures, wanting to put them into Flickr's editing program, Picnik, and effect the hell out of them.
6. When you get excited that someone favorited one of your pics.
7. When you're making lists like these and confessing to random people on the internet that you're a total freak.
I've said it plenty of times, and I'll say it again I'M CRAZY!!!

So not much happened this week. I finally joined the 21st century and bought myself my first cell phone! It's an LG Flare.
Nikki, Sarah, and SunnyD came over. We had tons of fun. We played Apples to Apples(which is always interesting, especially when we describe each other as being what the green cards we've collected are) and we also played Scategories(best game ever-if you haven't played it, do it) which was super funny. I love you guys!!! We need to get together more often.
I also went to watch an international ping-pong championship. It was very interesting. Most of the people were either Asian or really gay white guys.
Not doing too much tomorrow. My dad and grandparents are coming back from my great uncle's funeral in Boston and then my other grandparents are coming over and we're all celebrating my lil' sis' birthday.
I've taken a break from reading The Host because I've gotten to this part where someone's dying and at the moment it's hitting a little too close to home. But i promise y'all, I will pick it up sometime not too far from now.

So I was on iTunes yesterday and looking at the free section when I came across a short movie called The Spleenectomy. It stars Anna Faris(who I love) and that guy that plays the hairdresser from The Princess Diaries. Anna Faris plays the quirky mom of a little boy, Casper(who looks JUST like the kid from A Christmas Story). Her dream is to become an actress, but she is told to quit the business. To find out what happens when she's mistaken for her sister, a doctor(also played by Anna Faris) go to itunes and download it. It's adorable and only like, 10 minutes long.

Hey, guys! American Idol's about to start, so I can't make this a very long post, but I thought I'd write a little something. Hope you guys were wearing green today and that nobody got pinched! I did. I was wearing green, though! But it was a very yellowy green and some people thought it was yellow(yeah, right-they just wanted an excuse to pinch me)
Not much new here. I wish i could gush about the guy I have a crush on, but James reads this blog and he has a big mouth, so that wouldn't end well for me...anyway, my dad's leaving for my great uncle's funeral tomorrow. It's in Boston. I'm pretty sad that I can't go.
Anyway, hope you all have a great St.Patrick's Day!!!

I was thinking about what I was going to blog last night when I realized that everything worth blogging about that's happened to me has to with something ending. I'll explain.
I guess the first thing that ended this week was my reading of Pride and Prejudice. I didn't realize exactly how long it was. It's got 3 volumes with about 20 chapters each that vary from 15-30 pages each. It's kind of ridiculous. It wouldn't be so bad if the story had a faster pace. It's a good book, but it gets slow and boring fast. Anyway, sorry to disappoint anyone that was waiting for my review of it. I'll say this-if you have enough patience, you should read it. I'll probably watch the movie sometime soon so I can figure out what happens(though most of it is probably pretty predictable once you start reading the book).
The second thing that ended was me and Synfan's friendship. Yes, it's true. We've never been super close and we're total opposites, so I've seen this coming for a long time. I hope she's not reading this because

b.I'm about to diss her a bit
The fight originally started with something stupid(as most fights start) and then it turned into another one of those all-revealling, super-deep fights in which you vent everything you hate about the person you're fighting with. So yeah, it didn't end well. Oh well. Not a big loss on my part-or her's, I think-because I don't really want to waste my time with a "friend"(?) that doesn't care about me or is constantly trying to crush my spirits. It's sad-ish, but it's time to move on and forget about all the crap she's given me.
The third thing that ended was my great uncle's life. He was one of my favorite relatives and he'd been having so many problems with his health since around the time last summer. Anyway, he'd gotten increasingly worse this week and we all saw it coming, though I hate to admit that. Death is never really something you can prepare yourself for, no matter how much warning you get.
I'm happy for him, though. He doesn't have to suffer anymore. He's finally at peace. We all miss him though. R.I.P.
He died on Friday the 13th. Turns out the day is unlucky.
It's been less that 7 months and already, three of my realtives have died. Luckily, they all had good, long lives. That's one thing I'm grateful for. Everyone I've ever known that died has been old and has lived a long life. Never has a death of any of my relatives been spontaneous, which is good, in my opinon. I think it would be harder if you weren't expecting it.

Ok, so I just went over to Sarah's house and we watched The House Bunny. I loved it. Super hilarious movie.
Anna Faris plays a bubbly Playboy bunny named Shelley, whose recently been kicked out of the mansion. She comes across ZETA, a sorority house that about to be shut down because of it's lack of popularity. The 7 girls of ZETA are extremely nerdy. Shelley decides to become ZETA's housemother. She takes it upon herself to make the girls more popular, and along the way, she finds that there's more to life than skimpy outfits and Hugh Hefner.
This movie's super cute and funny, I'd definitely reccomend it. Not for straight guys, though. Anyone else, you're all good.
Ok, I have time for a quick post before American Idol starts.
It snowed on Monday! I was so happy. It kept us home from school and gave us a 2-hour delay on Tuesday! Wednesday was a normal day, accept for the fact that James was sick(not sure whether it was a good or bad thing...) Today we had a half day, so we got out at 11:25 and me, SunnyD, Nikki, and Sarah went shopping. We found out that Sarah and I have the same shoe size(which ROCKS!) and she bought some GORGEOUS shoes. They were only $10! Payless Shoes is awesome.
Unfortunately, the shoes are insanely painful.
We also went to Panera Bread. My stomach hurt, so I couldn't get anything to eat(which sucked), but it was still fun to catch up with SunnyD(who I never see anymore!) We also went to Sally's Beauty Supply, where I got some barrettes, eyeshadow, and lipgloss. Their prices are amazing. Then we went to Petsmart and checked out some cute little birdies. SunnyD picked up a dog toy with a sticker on it and said we should give the sticker to Synfan. lol, I took the sticker off the toy and stuck it to the back of my ipod, where it will stay forever. Anyway, that's about. Oh yeah, I bought myself and engagement ring(it was $8, but the reciept said it was an engagement ring) and so I asked myself to marry me and I accepted!!!

Ok, personally, I think Cam looks better as himself, but when I showed Sarah a pic(by the way, she thinks James is hot) she said "who is that?" and "he's ugly". I was like,"Wtf?", but that's not really the point. What I'm wondering is what y'all think. Leave your thoughts in the comments(and play well with others)
P.S. James, this is not about you, it's about James from Twilight, just FYI. I didn't want you thinking Sarah thought you were hot('cause we both know that would NEVER happen.)
P.P.S. I actually don't find him attractive as James. I think he looks better with brown hair and no ponytail.
