Hey, everyone!
I've been liking Shela Tat's long, info-filled posts, so I think I'll do one of my own to try to sum up all the strange things that have been happening lately.
Yesterday, in class, the guy I like was insanely bored and was playing with his cell phone. Then, completely randomly, he says to me,"Smell my phone". Of course, I was like,"Um...what?" He was like,"Smell it. It smells like curry!" Yeah, I was not going to smell his phone.
You want to know the weird part? I remembered later on that that was not the first time I'd been asked to smell someone's phone. It's happened before!! Seriously, why do things like this happen to me?
In other news, my friend Chris(Lunch Chris, for those who are wondering) can chug two cartons of milk in under 14 seconds. It's absolutely mind-boggling. It's something you have to see to believe. Cody tried to beat him, with only less than half of a CapriSun to finish, but failed miserably-which was hilarious.
I was in the most awkward situations today at lunch. Yes, Francois, it is your fault. Seriously bad images. Now they won't leave my mind. ARGH!
Seriously, no one else wants to know. Trust me.
My song obsession for the moment is "Love Lockdown" by Kanye West. I hate rap, but he's the one exception. Oh, and it isn't a rap song. But even when he does rap, I don't mind. His lyrics are clever and interesting, not the crap that rap is usually about(i.e. drugs, guns, porn) His new CD comes out soon.
Keane's new CD-Perfect Symmetry-is awesome. I recommend "Spiralling","Lovers Are Losing",and "Better Than This".
Above are some pics from my trip to NY and Boston. Oh, and the absolute biggest drink I've ever seen in person. It was HUGE. Took three people to drink.
Besides that, not much is happening in my life. When I finally finish all the art projects I have piled up, I will post some pics of them!

Ugh. Francois.
Oh my god, Francois, if you're reading this, please don't. Gosh, you are much too good at stalking me! UGH.
P.S. Were you the one that voted that you hate my blog on the poll?
Have a nice day!
Hope I didn't depress you to higher levels(maybe...)

Must All The Good Ones Be Gay?
So, you know how I posted about Austin Drage earlier? Well, my obsession came to an abrupt stop a week ago when I discovered-unfortunately-HE'S GAY!
God, this sucks.
Still, his voice is amazing. So are his abs....and his face.....and oh my gosh, his accent.....*sighs* Sorry.
Enjoy this pic.
UPDATE:
Thanks to the anonymous commenter, I have found out he is not in fact gay, and has a girlfriend. Which is good and bad news all at once!

Chris Thile
I know, I posted about Nickel Creek and their mandolin player, Chris Thile, only a few posts back, but felt I needed to go more in depth.
Chris is INSANELY talented. Best mandolin player out there without a doubt.
Nickel Creek has taken a break for a while(not broken up!) Chris has always done his own solo things on the side. Sean Watkins, the guitarist is actually working on a collaboration with Jon Foreman, the amazing lead singer of Switchfoot. They'll be called Fiction Family. Not sure when their album comes out.
Anyway, Chris is adorable. Enjoy him.

This Side-Nickel Creek
More Nickel Creek!
This song puts me in such a good mood! Love the lyrics.
Oh, and Chris looks AMAZING in this video(same wild hair as RPattz). He makes the mandolin incredibly sexy.
Enjoy.

When You Come Back Down-Nickel Creek
For those who have never heard of Nickel Creek, I'm so sorry. They are INCREDIBLE. This song just breaks my heart every time I listen to it. I'm actually struggling to see the words as I'm typing this because it makes me cry. So beautiful.
I've been to two Nickel Creek shows, I think. Amazing. I was actually about a few feet from them. It was a lawn concert(they aren't very popular) so I was right next to the stage, close enough to grab the wires and knock the microphones over if I wanted to.
Anyway, enjoy! Try not to cry.
Oh, and Chris Thile, the lead singer, is a total RPatzz lookalike and totally hot. He seems like a nice guy. Except he kinda mocked my mom at a concert(lol, i wasn't there, but it's a great story) but he was just kidding. What a joker. Gotta love him.
P.S. This is a total Bella/Edward song

The Best RPatzz Pic Ever
For all of you ladies out there-I know we all love him, unfortunately, we can't all have him, so you'll just have to do with this amazing pic. It's on my desktop background. So now everytime I turn on the computer-there he is! And when I turn it off, yes, I will kiss the monitor. No lie.

Flight Of The Conchords
I can't believe I haven't posted about these guys yet! I'm OBSESSED with them.
If you haven't heard of them, you are totally missing out. I'm here to help.
The Flight Of The Conchords, I show on HBO, follows the everyday life of Brett McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, a two-man band by the name of Flight Of The Conchords(hence the name of the show) The characters are great-there's Murray, the band's manager, Mel, the band's biggest/only fan, Dave, their messed-up friend(and pawn shop owner), and Sally, the heartbreaker.
Their songs are INCREDIBLY funny(beyond words)
If you're like me, and you can't afford HBO, go out and buy the first season on DVD. Like, now. You won't regret it. It will crack you up. The DVD comes with two discs, that's either 10 or 12 episodes- I can't remember.
These guys are hilarious. Their lyrics are always great. Just go out and buy it. But watch these vids first.
I can't stress enough how amazing these guys are. See for yourself!!!

Stuff
I just wanted to make a random post about things that are happening right now, even though I'm really tired and want to go to bed.
We have a few more updates on Grin and Bear It that I can't wait for you all to see. We're definitely getting to the good stuff. It just needs to be edited and then we'll post it for you all to enjoy(hopefully)
My stalker situation hasn't gotten any better. He snuck up on my at least twice this week, once while I was talking to a friend about avoiding him. What's frustrating is that he's incredibly mean, but the other day, I dropped my pencil sharpener(which was packed full) on the floor and all the shavings went EVERYWHERE and he stopped what he was doing to help me clean it all up. But then he goes on, insulting people's ears and stabbing my friend, telling my friend her hands are soft(creepy) and asking if mine are too(i told him them weren't-which is actually true)
I finished my "A" pillow for sewing class. I'll take a pic and post it.
I'm not cut out for sewing.
Other than that, not much is going on. I'm busy anticipating Twilight and Keane's latest album.
Still wanting to see U23D in Imax, but my dad wants to go too and hasn't been free when it's playing.
Umm...so that's about it for the moment.
I will go to sleep now. Sorry if I bored you!

The Goddess Of All Shoes
I saw shoes that looked very similar to these the other day, but they were purple and had a more rounded toe. Anyway, they're the most beautiful shoes on the planet and I want them SO bad. Anyone else feel an intense love for a certain shoe?
It's like Edward in shoe form-beautiful and perfect in every way.

Alice In Wonderland
Tim Burton is making his own adaption of Alice In Wonderland that is set to come out in March of 2010. Can't wait! I love Tim Burton and I'm currently reading the original Alice In Wonderland. I started reading it before, but stopped. But I've picked it up again. Such a great story. Johnny Depp is cast as the Mad Hatter, which will be awesome. He's definitely my favorite actor.
Here's the cast so far:
| Mia Wasikowska | ... | Alice | |
| other cast: | |||
| Johnny Depp | ... | Mad Hatter | |
| Matt Lucas | ... | Tweedledee / Tweedledum | |

Amira Part II
I've found another girl that looks like Amira. Her name is Lucy Hale. You may recognize her from Bionic Woman, How I Met Your Mother, The O.C., Drake and Josh, The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2, and Wizards of Waverly Place.
I think she's very Amira.
P.S. If you guys like Grin and Bear It so far, wait until the updates are posted. I'm pretty proud of myself.

Lastest Obsession- Austin Drage
Synfan and I have a knew obsession!! He's a musician by the name of Austin Drage. He was on The X Factor (which is basically the British version of American Idol)
He's got a voice of an angel and the looks to match. He's very David-ish(from Grin and Bear It) Everything but his face is exactly David. Oh yeah, and the accent. David's in no way British. Listen to his amazing audition below:

Keane's Newest Single-Spiralling
I love love love the British band, Keane. Has anyone heard them? Somewhere Only We Know ring a bell?
Anyway, they're coming out with a new CD, called Symmetry, on Tuesday and I can't wait!
Until then, check out their new single, Spiralling.
For those of you who haven't heard them before-this sounds almost nothing like their older songs. I love it, but don't judge this as what kind of music they usually make. This sounds more 80's-ish.
Enjoy!

Switchfoot-On Fire
This song was INCREDIBLE live. I definitely cried a little while they played it.
I just figured it out on the piano. It's fun to play!
Definitely one of Switchfoot's best songs, no doubt.

Jamie Lynn Preggo AGAIN?!
Remember that cute little innocent girl in the picture above? Yeah, she died.
Rumors are flying like mashed potatoes in a food fight(i dunno) that Jamie Lynn, 17, may be pregnant with her SECOND CHILD! Wow. Sad stuff, here. She only gave birth like,3 months ago, I think. Come on!! Apparently, she thought she couldn't get pregnant while breastfeeding. According to "insiders"(probably her mom), she's being urged to get an abortion. I've also heard that Casey Aldridge, her fiance, is furious(well, duh) and she and her mom are freaking out. Really, what's the point? She's in such deep shit anyway.
So, do you think she's pregnant?

Who's Better to Play Jacob Black: Steven or Taylor?
As some of you may know, Stepehnie Meyer's 1st choice for Jacob was Steven Strait. If you've seen Sky High(gay movie), he plays Warren Peace(haha, get it? War and Peace?) He was the dark one. Anyway, he's too old to play Jacob, which just sucks because he's exactly how I pictured Jacob, right down to the lips.
Taylor Lautner, the boy who was chosen to play Jacob, is good enough for me. What do you guys think?

Amira
For those of you who have read The Dusty Tomatoes' play, Grin and Bear It, here's a pic of what I imagine Amira looking like. I got this pic of a random person off some writer's block website, so no one knows who it is. But yeah, this is Amira. Has been from the beginning for me. I still haven't found the right David yet. But when I do, I will post a pic. Enjoy!

Good Quote
I love this quote. My teacher wrote part of it on the board yesterday and I just came across the full things today(coincidence?) I think Audrey Hepburn said it.
"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others."

Wow, it's been a long time
Sorry I haven't posted in SO long. My great grandmother died two weeks ago(R.I.P-she was 95) and I've been really busy.
So, not too much is happening right now. I just found out Rob Pattinson is going to be on the Twilight soundtrack which I am totally excited about! I love his music. It's very unique. It sucks that I can't get it on itunes or anywhere else for that matter. Glad I can finally own some of his music!!!
Other than that, nothing's really new. Still being stalked.
I've become a decoupage addict. I swear, once you start, you can't stop! I don't know why.
I'm decoupaging a bowl. I'll post pics once I'm done.
