As some of you may know, Stepehnie Meyer's 1st choice for Jacob was Steven Strait. If you've seen Sky High(gay movie), he plays Warren Peace(haha, get it? War and Peace?) He was the dark one. Anyway, he's too old to play Jacob, which just sucks because he's exactly how I pictured Jacob, right down to the lips.
Taylor Lautner, the boy who was chosen to play Jacob, is good enough for me. What do you guys think?

STEVEN STRAIT FO SHO!!!! he is exactlly the way i see Jacob Black and i was crushed when he wasnt choosen.....Taylor is just oookkkaayyyy. but the wig is so stupid!! and he not even allowed to tie it back in a ponytail (which is like the jacob hair style) which might make it look slightly less horrible cuz they say james already has that "LOOK" *ggggrrrrrrrrrr*

i think Steven should have played Jacob Black because he's better for the role and he's how i imagined him!!!taylor isn't tall enough anyways!!! Steven should have gotten the role!!!
Honestly, I think Taylor Lautner is perfect for the role of the young, skinny, short and non-muscled Jacob Black =P. Steven would probably make a better wolfified Jacob, but, I myself am Happy with Taylor. Hes just so darn cute, and Jacob Black has always struck me as being cute XD.
And I dont see any problem with Jacobs wig XD. I myself love long hair on guys that can pull it off, though I do wish they woulda had it pulled back like it was supposed to be.

Taylor is PERFECT!!!! He is uber cute and an awesome actor. I think that he captured the Jacob part perfectly. He has such a sweet face and that is what really got my attention, because Jacob Black is a sweet boy. I love that guy. Steven really was too old. If they could have made him look younger than it would have been better logically, because of the growth spurt that Jacob has in New Moon, but I don't think he would have captured the attitude that Taylor Lautner could.

Taylor for sure he is so hot. They picked the right person. In cheaper by the dozen 2 he played Eliot which suited him perfect. I havent seen Twilight yet but soon I will. He is a very great actor and is getting very far in life. I am going to leave it at that.

I think Taylor Lautner is perfect for the role. He may be a little short for the character, but that's all he has against him. Besides Taylor is wayyy hotter then Steven, I'd choose taylor anyday! Not to be mean to steven 'fans' but Taylor is fucking awesome. Without Taylor Playing Jacob I think the movie wouldn't be as great as it is with him in it. That's just my opinion. XD :)

i think that taylor would be better than the other one because taylor is younger and better looking and taylor was just used in the book so bella could find out that edward was a vampire but now they are going to use him again for a better reason =]

ok so I think they should use both of them b/c it says that in all of the books that he's always growing. Taylor for the first one and then Steven for the last one. They look enough alike to pull it off and Taylor still has a cute young look to himself but Steven looks like he's in his twenties which is just how Bella says in the third and last books she even says he looks like he's about 26.
TAYLOR LAUTNER WAS A GREAT CHOISE!! I've seen Twilight 80 times, literaly! (And four of those times were at the movies. In two days! Once the first day, and 3times the second day) He's just gorgeous! I've loved him since I saw him in Sharkboy and Lavagirl. (Wierd movie. Only saw it 'cause of him.) So yeah. I hate Steven so, there's my answer!! :)

TayLau is definitely a yes for me. He did a fantastic job in Twilight and Steven doesn't look young enough although movie magic...anyways, I love Taylor as an actor and because he's a stunner xD I think he'll do just fine :)
