Okay, I know there's still another like, 6 hours and 15 minutes until I can officially say that, but I have to do it now, because I know I'm not going to be on here, blogging, at midnight. So Happy New Years to all! I'm going to try to post my mental list of resolutions(it's long) tomorrow, but I make no promises. Anyway, I wish you all an awesome '09!!

What's New

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, I've been SWAMPED with work. Getting ready for Christmas break! Only one more day to go!!!

Still so many Christmas presents to buy/make-I'm definitely feeling the stress. Christmas is in, what, 7 days? I still have two presents to make, and 4 more to buy! UGH. December is going by so fast.

So yesterday, Cody happened to hear me talking to Francois about my blog, and he was like,"Why would you have a blog?" So I started defending myself and then Nikki starts ranting for me(thank you, Nikki). He just couldn't understand why I had a blog-really, he is a weirdo. Why not have a blog? I need some of my fellow bloggers to help me out here. Why do we blog? And why on earth is it so freaking fun?

So much to do right now that I probably shouldn't be blogging, but I feel like I'm boring you guys. And I'm in a desperate need to rant. I have so much studying to do and I have to do this big project-the funny thing is, we got it like, 2-3 months ago, it's due Friday, and I just started it 2 days ago. Nikki has the same procrastinating issue. We both work better under pressure, which can come in handy sometimes.

My new love for Kanye West is blossoming more and more with every song of his I hear. His newest CD, 808's and Heartbreak is AMAZING! "Love Lockdown" won me over first, then "Heartbreak", and now "Robocop". It's incredible, because I HATE rap, but Kanye West has something all the other rappers don't-actual TALENT! Crazy, huh? If you get a chance, check out some of his new stuff. It's awesome.

My life's been pretty boring lately, but I guess I like it that way.

I've been told to avoid the local news, because it'll just make me hate the world even more than I already do.

Oh, right, and there was a bomb threat! Let's just hope I don't die tomorrow! Wish me luck!

Yay! Can't believe it's already my 200th post!!!
I just want to thank everyone who reads my blog-I love you all. I remember the time where only my three best friends read my blog, but now I've got all these people complimenting-it's absolutely insane. Thank you!

Things have been going better lately, minus the Francois issue. Synfan isn't going to move, which is awesome. My grades have gotten better. Semester's almost done. Of course, now I'm being bombarded with projects and EOC's. JOY.

THE EDWARD DOLL?!

I flipped out when I saw this. I have a serious issue with toymakers turning gorgeous actors(ex.Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp) into action figures/dolls. They never look like the person or do them justice. And here they go, making an Edward Cullen doll. EDWARD! You can't make an Edward doll. This is terrible.

Twilight...Again

So, Sarah, Nikki, and I went to go see Twilight again today. This was my second time.
Katie said Twilight was better the second time for her, but Nikki and I both agree that it, even though it was still awesome, it was better the first time.
I still think the fight scene with James was a little too...graphic. I hate blood.
I've fallen in love with "Decode" by Paramore. It's grown on me and it fits the movie so well. Can't wait to get the soundtrack for Xmas! "Supermassive Black Hole" is another one of my favorites.

This is random, I know, but could Rob be any more gorgeous? I think I'd faint if he was...

Surrealness, Love and Theft, and Surfing

It's terrifying how reality can hit you like a ton of bricks going 80 mph. It's interesting how one...incident can cause your eyes to open to the world that surrounds you. You realize how things that you thought could never happen you to you or anyone you know are in fact real, that those stories on the news could happen in your very own town. The fact that I've been so close to people involved in things, been so close crazy, insane people with no limits, is an eye-opener. I wish I could tell everyone what's happened, but you'll just have to trust me that it's scary and sad, because I've sworn not to talk about it. I've just felt the extreme need to write this and to tell everyone that the world is in fact not a good place. Unfortunately, we can't fathom the reality of it until it's too close.
Synfan's taking a break from the blog scene due to personal reasons, and I'd love it if you all respect that and give her your best. I'll be taking over the Twilight blog for a while, but don't worry, Synfan'll be back when the time is right.

On a happier note, I found out about an awesome band last night, called Love and Theft. As some of you know, I can't stand Taylor Swift's music(absolutely no talent), but I was reading an article about a song of her's called "Hey Stephen". Apparently, the song was inspired by the lead singer of Love and Theft, Stephen Barker Liles. I decided to look up Love and Theft and found that they are actually really good. Last on the list is this amazing surfing video I found of a guy riding a tsunami. This is AMAZING!!! Really blew my mind. Wish I had the balance to surf.

Josh Peck

For Synfan, my bff, I thought I'd post some stuff about Josh Peck, her current obsession.
I am not ashamed to admit that I love Drake and Josh and I still watch it occasionally(even though I've seen every episode at least 10 times and know every word that will come out of their mouths). Though I still prefer Drake slightly more than Josh, I still love Josh. He's funny, he's cute, and he's so grown up now! The picture on the bottom is what he looked like when the show first started. The one on the top is what he looks like now. He was recently in The Wackness, with Mary-Kate Olsen. Don't think it did too well, but you know, we still love him.

6 Ways To Spruce Up A Room

I've been inspired by Domino magazine, this home decor magazine I found on the coffee table of our beach house, and I wanted to share some of my quick, easy decorating ideas to spruce up a room in little time.

1. Letters-I like painting wooden letters and hanging them on the wall. You can buy letters at most craft stores-Michael's is my favorite. I have a collection of many A's on my bedroom wall(pics here). I can custom paint letters for anyone that wants one. Leave requests in the comments and I'll get back to you on it.

2.Mirrors-Adding mirrors to a room makes it appear larger. Of course, it's also good for checking out your reflection! ; )

3.Flowers-Flowers and plants add a splash of color and a sense of spring into a room. Put it in a nice vase and it can instantly brighten a room.

4.Posters-I have lots of posters in my room. They show off your personality and give visual interest.

5.Collages-I have two collages in my bedroom(pics here) I made both of them out of magazine clippings and large pieces of cardboard. It's simple and easy to make, but slightly time-consuming. Fun, though.

6. Lights-I love having lots of light in a room. I hate the dark-I'm not scared of it, but I don't like it. There are some ADORABLE lighting fixtures at Urban Outfitters(see them here)

12 Things To Consider When Making New Moon

This is Katie's list of things to consider when making New Moon(she wasn't exactly satisfied by Twilight) I can't say I agree on all of them, but I'm completely SOLD on 5,9,and 11:
1. NO FLASHBACKS! Trust that the audience is smart enough to use their imagination....hellooooooo...

we all read the book.
2. Let the actors act. Don't try to make them act according to how the book described. For example, Edward all the sudden becomes really angry after almost having sex with bella. Cue natural acting, not a forced frown. And it might be just me, but allow robert pattinson to use his real accent.
3. Soundtrack and Score needs some adjusting. More moody, guitar driven stuff (robert pattinson singing) and less songs that sound like Evanescence. it is old. let's make it more classic instead of topical. In addition, this is not an episode of the original 90210. Please, no more screaching electric guitar solos in the background to signify the drama.
4. More Jasper
5. Naked Edward
6. Hire a new Jacob OR at least tell him to simmer on the whitening strips. (thanks, mom)

Random

Ok, I feel like posting about random things at the moment because it's been a good day.

Francois has taken a little "break". Haha, I know you are all thinking-"she killed him!"-but, as much I wish I had, I didn't. Regardless, I won't be seeing him until next Monday, which just made my day.

So, what are everyone's Thanksgiving plans? I'm going to spend a relaxing 5 days at the beach(no, i won't be swimming-but there is a hot tub) with a turkey and way too much food. I'm not looking forward to the 5 pounds I'm likely to gain.

I am happy to report that SunnyD, after seeing Twilight, does not hate Kristen Stewart anymore(though she still doesn't think she's pretty) and thinks she did a good job. Really, the trailers didn't do her justice.

And finally, today, I got someone who agrees with me that Kristen Stewart is perfect to play Bella-you have no idea how rare it is to find someone agrees with me about that.

I'm planning on going to see Twilight at least one more time, hopefully this week. The trouble is finding someone in my family to go with me. Still working on convincing my aunt to read the books.

I am going to attempt to crochet for the first time since I was like, 8, this week. Wish me luck!

Honestly, I was shocked enough at how many comments I got on my Austin Drage posts, but you guys literally made my jaw drop when I saw that I had a whopping 50 comments on my Is Kristen Stewart Pretty? post. Wow! I really didn't think that many people read it. Of course, some of the comments are just me and Synfan talking, but 18 of them were from different people. Glad to know the majority of you agreed with me. It's successfully made me win the competition between SunnyD and I(though she's still so stubborn she won't admit it)

So, Christmas is coming up fast(their already playing Xmas music on the radio!) and if you're looking for cheap gift ideas, you've come to the right place. Throughtout the season, I'll be posting cheap ideas for presents. For today, I'm recommending going to Borders. They have these little boxes with all kinds of things inside them. For example, the therapist in a box, a mini Zen rock garden in a box, Hilary Clinton in a box, George Bush in a box, A Golden Snitch in a box(might have to get that for myself), and plenty of other things. They're cute little gifts and most of them cost, at the most, $10.

I'm Alive!

Sorry it's taken SO long to put up another post. I couldn't get on the computer for a week and I just got my new ipod touch on Saturday and I haven't turned on my computer since. I'm absolutely addicted. It's hard to type on, though, so I finally turned on my computer to post.
I went shopping with friends on my day off today. So many Twilight things at Borders. It was fun. I got a Cheesecake Fantasy ice cream cone at Coldstone Creamery(delicious!) and I saw some adorable winter coats at Old Navy(if you need a nice winter coat, go there-so cute)
I saw a fabulous James Dean Calender at Borders. Can you believe Synfan AND Sarah both think he's unattractive? Sarah actually said, "Ew". I was like, WTF?! He's gorgeous.
There was also a really funny calender with pics of hot, shirtless guys with chiseled bodies that had funny things written underneath. For instance:

Regarding Austin Drage

Bathroom Attendants, Half-Snake Ladies, Rubber Cement, and Insanity

So many things I've been meaning to post about, but haven't gotten around to!

So, I went to the fair on Saturday. It was loads of fun, and pretty crazy. I ate a deep-fried Twinkie, which was wickedly delicious. It tasted like a funnel cake with cream in it...*sigh*Wonderful.
It's funny how many different "abnormal" people and things there are there. I saw signs for aHalf-Snake-Half-Human woman, the world's smallest woman, exceptionally large horse(bigger than Bigfoot, according to the sign!), and many other strange things...it makes you curious...but you don't want to spend a dollar to see if it's real(of course, it's not, but i still want to know what they're showing in those tents!)
Anyway, here's the hilarious bathroom story I've been telling everyone lately.
I walked into the bathroom at the fair, thinking everything would be normal. That was when I saw a big lady with a bullhorn yelling,"LET IT FLOW, LADIES!" It scared the crap out of me! She was like,"STEP RIGHT UP NUMBER 3-MAKE THAT BLADDER A LITTLE BIT GLADDER!" Then when this one woman came out, the Bullhorn-Monster says,"Congratulations number 4(there were numbers on the doors), she took her time and she let it fllooooooow!" I felt so bad for that poor lady. I've never had such a terrifying and confusing bathroom experience in my entire life. And guess what? According to my dad and brother, the guy's bathroom didnt' have a freaking attendant! Grrrr.

About the rubber cement(I'm sure you were dying to know, right?) We've been using it in Art a lot, and the fumes have gotten to my head...yeah, I was a bit messed up...Although, I'm pretty messed up in the head anyway. I was NOT high today, and people were accusing me of it! Gosh. Not fair! I should be on some kind of meds, but I'm not...
