Hello!
So, this week has been very stressful, but it got much better. My dad won tickets on the radio to Dave Matthews in April and guess who gets to go? Your's truly. Unfortunately, all of the people I know are so uncultured they'd never even heard of him. Seriously, something is wrong with them. I found that out once Synfan didn't know who Santana was and then it followed with her "forgetting" who Bob Marley is. Yeah, right. "Forgetting". Sure.

Anyway, I had my first final yesterday and then I got out early. I was supposed to see Bride Wars with Nikki, SunnyD, Sarah, and....someone, but it didn't really work out. But I have a three and a half day weekend, all half days next week, and Friday off, so it's all good.
I was listening to Pandora the other day and I heard this song called "Element" by Moses Mayfield. It's amazing and it turns out the rest of the band's songs rock too! Here's "Element", for those who are interested.
Speaking of awesome music, I just came across Boyce Avenue's latest cover a few minutes ago and just had to share it with you. It's "Mr.Brightside" by The Killers, which i know is one of SunnyD's favorites. The band did an awesome cover and made the song way better than it is(as always!), so enjoy!

Some of their newer stuff isn't quite as good though, my opinion would be that they peaked on musical skill around MMHMM with everything before that either being absolutely dreadful or just catchy enough to be good and every album after that having to many different styles packed into one album. This is not to say that I don't like their newer music, just that I don't like every or almost every song on any given album.
The conclusion is that if you want to hear Relient K at their finest listen to MMHMM.

That's a great song-- I'm glad you put it up. I've been listening to different genres all week and I think two of my new faves are "I get around" by Dragonette (kinda sexually suggestive, but I like the beat) and "Like a Star" by Corinne Bailey Rae.

OMG I KNOW!!!! I was so freaking excited last night when they called school off.
Darn you, I only found out in the morning while I was already in the shower.
I should auctualy blog about this rare occurence, its like 6 whole inches on my deck, so probably more like 4 on solid ground where it melts a tad easier.

get this: i can't even go to his funeral because it's a tousand miles away!!!!! i mean, i would feel so much better if i could just go to Pakistan and mourn with them, but i can't. because of school...and other things
i just feel so numb. i only cried once since his death. i can't feel anything now. the only way i can cope is if i go to Pakistan, but i can't...*SIGH*
When will you see us, Synfan? We have a three day weekend coming up, can you maybe spare us one day? I haven't seen you in so long. . . .
