I meant to do this review AGES ago-I watched it in April-and if the movie wasn't so great, I wouldn't be doing this right now!
I watched this in English class and thoroughly enjoyed it! It stays true to the story, the cast is great, and for being made so long ago, they did a really great job.
The actor that plays Romeo, Leonard Whiting, is...(can't think of a creative way to say this) INSANELY GORGEOUS! He looks EXACTLY like Zac Efron(not so much in pictures, but in the movie, you'll see it). Every girl in my English class all went,"Oh.My.God." at the same time when he first came on.
There were many other sexy dudes, too . ;)
Olivia Hussey makes a perfect Juliet and she's absolutely beautiful!
I'd definitely recommend this. The guys didn't seem to enjoy it, but the girls definitely did.
WATCH IT!!!

Eeew, I remember my teacher made us watch this sophomore year and were were like "Nooo!! Child porn!!!" Apparently, Miss Juliet was only 13 in this movie and she had to do a nude scene.
I did find it interesting how back in the day the guys wore tights and the chicks wore frilly, poufy, shapeless dresses.. and now the guys sag and the girls wear skin tight clothes...
I'd do a nude scene with him any day...
Lol, what's hilarious is that she wasn't allowEd to go and see her own movie because there was nudity and she was underaged. It was her own nudity!!! Lol
